GORGEOUS Hand Painted Belleek Shamrock Pattern 5 piece Set including Open Sugar Bowl, Creamer, Mini Milk Pitcher and Salt and Pepper Shakers

This is a remarkable Delicate Porcelain Tea Set from Lovely Irish Belleek in the Shamrock Pattern.

This translucent porcelain set has a soft, mother of pearl glow with a basketweave background with the signature Belleek shamrock motif.

Classic Masterpiece Collection, County Fermanagh Ireland.

The set includes Small Creamer and Open. Sugar Bowl as well as taller Milk Pitcher and a Pair of Salt and Pepper Shakers with honey bees on top.

The creamer measures 2 1/2” tall and the sugar bowl is 2 1/4” tall with a mouth circumference of 4 1/2". The Milk Pitcher is 4" Tall and the Salt and Pepper are each 1 1/8" tall and have both their stoppers.

They all have the 4th Belleek mark which dates the set between 1946 and 1955. The set is in overall excellent condition with some yellowing and a small fissure in the sugar bowl. It does not however effect the integrity of the bowl at all. The Bee on the Salt shaker has lost 1/2 a wing.

All are handpainted and there is no loss of color. The design also cleverly uses the stems of the shamrocks to shape such features as the handles and details of the design. It remains an iconic collection, one symbolic of Belleek's long craft tradition.
