Mid Century Modern Inlay Wood and Brass Tray/Platter by Birks, with Walnut, Rosewood, Leopard Wood, Ash and a Brass lace Rail
This is a fantastic Marquetry Serving Tray made for Birks with Gorgeous wood inlay in Walnut, Rosewood, Leopard Wood, Ash in Floral Patters and Florentine Scroll Work.
Absolutely Gorgeous Piece.
Rim and Handles are Brass.
The serving tray has a Brass lace rail that is about one Inch high and is hand nailed all the way around.
The 14.4" L x 8" W Surface excluding handles, will allow for drink service for a small crowd of appreciative guests!
There are no breaks in the Marquetry and all the wood colours are still bright. The Brass Rail around the tray is complete with no breaks or cracks. There are a few minor scratches on the tray visible only on an angle Consistent with the age and use of this piece.
This Tray has Felt Protective pads on the bottom to protect your furniture.
This is in great Vintage condition with minor wear and some scuffing from use but a completely awesome piece.
